What Causes Black Stools In A 71 Year Old?

For the past four days I have been having black, sometimes tarry stools. I am a 71 year old woman, who has had a colonoscopy and endoscopy, & a pill cam in the last few months. Nothing was determined to be wrong in my digestive system, so I was send home. I am also being followed by a Hemotologist because of extreme anemia. I was given a pint of blood and a pint of iron while in the hospital. Do you have any thoughts for me on this matter? This was done back in May 2017.
