ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi, Thanks for the query.
The black streak can be because of pent up secretions in para nasal sinuses, pollution and dusty environment and occupations which involve exposure to pollutants. Fungal infection in para nasal sinuses can also lead to blackish dirty discharge and colour of secretions depends upon the type of fungus and the colour of its spores. Please see an ENT and if need be, he/she can decide on the need for getting a CT para nasal sinuses done. Regards
