What Causes Black Vaginal Bleeding, Lightheadedness And Racing Heart Post Tubal Ligation?

Had tubal ligation in 2003. Experiencing black vaginal bleeding, lightheaded, and heart racing. Also was tested less then a week ago for pregnancy due to fatigue, breast tenderness with small amounts of lactation , and nausea..all tests were negative. What could be causing my symptoms and should I be concerned?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The bleeding you have been experiencing may be related to normal period. There is no chance of pregnancy since you had tubal ligation which is a permanent contraception method. The dizziness and heart rating are not much related to that.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
