What Causes Black Vision With Pressure In Head?

Each morning when I stand up right after I awake my vision goes black for a bit like 5-10 seconds and then my head feels like there is a lot of pressure on it and I get a slight headache. It used to only happen when I stood up from sitting for a while but now it only happens when I wake up.

Ophthalmologist 's  Response
Hi
These symptoms of sudden black outs of vision indicate episodes of dizziness because of transient ischemia.
The common causes for this condition are hypotension or hypovolemia.
If the episodes are recurrent do consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.

Thank you
