What Causes Black Worms In Stool After Appendicitis?
Hello, my 11 year old son had his appendix removed Sunday night. was perscribed amox, he just had a bow movement and said he saw little black worms wiggling around. He sees his dr tomorrow evening. Is this a serious concern or will it be ok till then?

worms infestation is common in children and the same can pass alive in stools at times. It is not an emergency and you just need to deworm him . get his stool tested in the meanwhile
