What Causes Bladder Cancer To Re Occur?
Hello Dr.,on Friday when I had my bladder cancer checkup I was shown 3 new pieces of cancer in my bladder had the first operation in March 2017 and was told I’m gonna need the second operation ASAP is it normal for the cancer to return this soon .thank you chuck Worrell

If even a few cancerous cells remain, they can proliferate and contribute to recurrence of bladder cancer. Therefore, the cancer cells needs to be removed completely along with the rim of surrounding tissue. If remnants present, then the chances for recurrence is high.
