What Causes Bleeding A Week After Intercourse?

Hi, I had protected sex on 7th August and took an ipill in 18 hours just because I had a doubt if condom tore. I noticed bleeding the next week. Haven t got my periods yet. My cycle is usually due on 28th of every month. Please help. I took pregnancy test which were negative.

Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Since you had taken i pill for emergency contraception and got bleeding after a week, it says that you are not pregnant.
Your cycle rhythm will change from this period and it may be delayed or happen early for about few days in the next couple of cycles. This occurs after taking the pill as the body needs some time to restore its hormone levels to normal.
Hence don't be worried about it. It will happen restore back to normal soon.
