What Causes Bleeding After Sex?

I just had sex recently and after I started bleeding really bad. Like something might had ripped.Then today I found I hang a pink fleshy string thing hanging out of my vagina but still very attached. It doesn t hurt. But I m scared. What is it? Can I get rid of it?

Hello,

If you had undergone sexual intercourse for the first time than hymen rupture can cause such bleeding.

The pink fleshy string out of the vagina could be part of the ruptured hymen or injured tissue.

It's advisable to rule out minor tear also by pelvic examination. You have to avoid intercourse for the next few days.

You should consult a nearby gynecologist for detailed evaluation.
