What Causes Bleeding And Abdominal Cramps After Taking Norethisterone?
hi i have been prescriped norethisterone tabs twice daily for 3 weeks to stop my bleedind . put i had pregnancy symptoms and did serum HCG just 2 dayes before i stopped the taps. it was positive now 3 dayes after stopping the pills iam having ableeding and sever colick . is this abortion or what and thank you for helpping

Pregnancy like symptoms are due to side effects of norethistrone pills(which is a hormonal preparation)you had taken...
Pregnancy test must be an artifact due to polluted urine,container. Please get blood hcg done to exclude pregnancy.
Even if it's +ve.. must be before you started the pills &need to be removed for the pills are contraindicated in pregnancy.
Advised consultation by gynecologist to evaluate &investigate for proper diagnosis &treatment.
