What Causes Bleeding And Bad Cramps After Taking Depo Shot?
I am 20 years old and have had problems with my period my whole life. The local doctors this i have endometriosis so they put me on the Depo shot almost 3 months ago. 4 days ago I started cramping bad and bleeding bad. I don t know what s going on and I seem to have pieces of my uterus ( pink skin stuff) coming out too when I go to the bathroom? I don t know what it could be!
Hello, As per your symptoms, it appears as though you are shedding endometrium as casts. This can happen in endometriosis and also if you have any infection leading to endometritis. The pain also is likely to be related to the disease process. Also, if you have not taken your due course of the depo shot, it is possible to add to the bleeding as there would be withdrawal effect of the hormone. Please see your consultant for a proper appraisal of the situation and get further management. Hope this helps.
