What Causes Bleeding And Swollen Lymphnodes After Getting Staples In The Head?

I recently got staples put in the back of my head for a gash. it is been one week and it started bleeding and my left neck lymphoid is swollen and my neck is on that side has turned pink. My doctors appointment is monday should I go to the emergency first.

Hello,

It could be due to the local inflammatory reaction at the staple site.
As first line management you can start a short course of antibiotics.
If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.
