Hello,

It is just the start of a sexual life.
Girls have a thin membrane covering the opening of the vagina. It is known as the hymen. During first sex, it gets torn and the bleeding occurs. During first sex, if it is not completely torn, then it may take a few more attempts to get it torn. Every time some bleeding will occur. Even if it is torn completely at the first attempt of sex, successive day sex will cause bleeding as the torn edges have not healed as yet. The pain you got is because of two reasons:
1. Tearing of this hymen.
2. You are just starting a sexual life. Your vagina is still narrow and the vaginal muscles are tight.

Moreover, you might be apprehensive and hence might contract vaginal muscles more. Forcible insertion in such cases causes pain. To avoid pain, you may follow the following tips:
1. Use some lubrication while he is inserting. The lubrication should not be oil-based lest it is harmful to the female internal organs. Water-based lubricants, vaginal jellies are very good.
2. Ask your partner never to touch your private parts dry lest it gives pain.
3. Initial few months to a year, full insertion of the penis is not possible. Tell your partner not to attempt it forcibly. The use of lubricants may make it earlier and easier.

Please do not worry about the bleeding. It will stop as the torn hymen heals. It has got nothing to do with pregnancy. However, if your sex was unprotected during the fertile period, wait for the menses. If you miss menses, you may get a pregnancy test done on urine and ultrasonography for the diagnosis of pregnancy. Fourteen days before the menses, the egg is released by a woman. A week's period around that is fertile.
