What Causes Bleeding Cuts In Vaginal Folds?

I have a 1/2 inch cut in one of my vaginal folds, and sometimes after I go to the bathroom and wipe the cut bleeds. I'm worried that it's herpes even though there are no bumps or puss coming from this cut. I had a yeast infection over a month ago and it seems as if I got it then and it never went away. What is this?
