Hello. I am a 24 yr old female and I have not had a period in two years. I was checked by my gynecologist just before my last period for PCOS- results were inconclusive. I have all the symptoms but the blood work and ultrasound didn t prove anything. Recently I discovered light bleeding directly after masturbation. (Clitoral only) I m concerned because it does not seen to be caused by menstruation, trauma, insertion, etc. I m wondering what I should do. This has happened more than once in the past week.
Hi dear, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Spotting or bleeding you are having is likely to be the periods, which are occurring after a prolonged time. Clitoral stimulation do not cause bleeding if any trauma and insertion has been ruled out. I will suggest you to wait for the proper flow of the periods to come. If there is no proper flow and the spotting continues, then you should consult an OBGYN specialist to get properly examined and treated accordingly. Hope you found the answer helpful. Wishing you good health. Dr Deepti Verma
