What Causes Bleeding During A Bowel Movement?

okay. male, Caucasian, 58 y/o, anal bleeding with most bowel movements, bright red. I drink a lot of coffee, don t know if this has anything to do with it? I ve had a colonoscopy two years ago, no problems; they found a few polyps and removed, but that was it. should I be concerned? should I change my diet?
