What Causes Bleeding During Bowel Movements?

I have had 4 bowel movements today with heavy bright red bleeding. I have a history of bleeding here and there but nothing like this. I feel fine other than that, just a little tired. no pain or even real discomfort. I am currently taking iron for anemia. what should I do

I think, it's hemorrhoids, as u have previous history also. You should undergo a digital rectal examination or using a proctoscope a doctor could diagnose your condition clinically and if u get diagnosed with it, according to grade of hemorrhoids you will be given appropriate treatment. As of milder hemorrhoids resolve by themselves. Treating your anemia at the same time is a good decision.
