What Causes Bleeding During Pregnancy?

Hi I am 9 weeks pregnant wth my second child & started bleedin after I had sex at 7 weeks 4 a few days so went 4 a scan and the fetes was fine and their was no blood around it !! I m now 9 weeks an. Started bleeding again so I went to my dr who gave me a examination and said I had a bulky uterus, a few hours later the bleedin went from a slow, brown too deep red like a period I ve now been bleedin like this 4 4 days with slight cramps!! Am I having a miscarriage???

Hello dear,i understand your concern.In my opinion the bleeding might be cervical bleeding as the ultrasound is normal.The thyroid abnormalities,progesterone insufficiency, excess physical strain also causes bleeding during pregnancy.So they need to be evaluated.Dont worry.If everything is normal the pregnancy continues till term.There are many cases presenting like this progress till term.So relax.Avoid stress, intercouse.Take rest.Take iron rich diet and iron suppliments to prevent anaemia.
