What Causes Bleeding During Urination While Suffering From Anemia?
My husband has to see the hemotologist this week. He is anemic .he has been in hospital twice for bleeding while urinating g. Had to do a TURP. So far he seems fine.while in hospital the first time they had to give him 2units of blood. Second time in hospital, 2 more units while in surgery. This is why we are seeing a hemotologist. His father had leukemia and Parkinson s disease. I need to know if this is all is connected. Please answer if you can.Thank you,Kathleen Norman

Bleeding during urination is commonly related to a urinary tract infection or a kidney stone.I suggest to do a urine test and an abdominal ultrasound for further evaluation.
