What Causes Bleeding For A Long Period Of Time?

Hi , About 3 weeks ago on the 24 of June I went to to ER and was giving some medicine foe a uti. 2 days later I started bleeding bright red with clots. Today is the 14 of july Its been 3 weeks now and im still bleeding can someone please help me and tell me what s going on thank you

Hello,

Pills for UTI would not cause bleeding. We’re you taking any hormonal pills along with those medicines, or had you previously taken any such pills, withdrawal of that might cause heavy bleeding with clots. But to know the exact cause, I would suggest to get an ultrasound done once.

Hi,

Please do urine pregnancy test. If positive, get an ultrasound done to rule out pregnancy. This could be incomplete or inevitable abortion.
