What Causes Bleeding From Ear?
My friend stayed the night the other night and when he woke up his hoodie was covered in blood and there was dried up blood in his ear so we r assuming he was bleeding from the ear. What would cause this and should I be worried more so than I already am?

bleeding from ear is unusual. most Commonly patients misinterprete wax mixed with sebum and water as blood, which is dark in color. But if it is actually blood, history of trauma to head is significant. if no history of trauma then proper blood coagulation studies and local examination are required. A very rare cause is carcinoma, which is negligible in young patients. I would recommend that you should visit an ENT specialist nearby.
