What Causes Bleeding From Ears Along With Headaches?
Hi I have a friend that was out tonight and he said his head started hurting, right after that he noticed his ear was bleeding, Is this an emergency situation? He is 62, and also has Diabetes but I always forget which type?? He takes insulin shots if that helps??

So to rule out otitis media like ear infection Otoscopy ear examination should be done
If infection present than topical antibiotic drops and oral antibiotic needed
Otoscopy might reveal fungal infection as diabetes history present... For that topical antifungal drug used
