What Causes Bleeding From Nose And Ringing In Ear?

About an hour I was driving home from work, felt like I had drainage in my throat, I sniffed a little thinking I had mucus drainage, I got a big clog of bloody mucus, then my nose began to bleed heavily & now my ears are ringing a lot louder than they usually do. I m a 50yr old female, no known medical issues, and have not been experiencing any sinus issues whatsoever, woke up this morning with a little bit of a sore throat & a mild stuffy feeling kind of nose...before my ears began ringing this loud I felt pressure like they were popping, I have not blown my nose since getting bloody nose, it bleed for only about 10 minutes at the most, I have not laid down, have kept my sitting up or standing. is there a reason to be concerned?

Hello madam,
yes, nasal bleeds makes every one a little worried. unwarranted profuse bleeding from nose of an elderly may be a sign of transient raise in blood pressure. Have you ever got screened for increased blood pressure. what you did was correct.
kindly get checked for hypertension and reach the nearest hospital if you have a similar episode.
Thank you.
