Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like foreign object stuck in the nose , chemical irritants , allergic reaction , injury to the nose , repeated sneezing , picking the nose , cold air or upper respiratory infection . But in your case the symptoms are probably due to side effects of depakote , which known to cause such symptoms as its side effects I would suggest you to use a humidifier in your house , avoid picking your nose , use antihistamines and apply cold compresses to nose . Consult doctor , who prescribe depakote and discuss the condition . Doctor may alter the dose or prescribe substitute. If condition doesn t get well then consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may order complete blood count , nasal endoscopy ,partial thromboplastin time , CT scan of the nose , X-ray of the face and nose . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics like amoxicillin , anti inflammatory . Doctor can recommend surgery in case of nasal polyp . Hope your concern has been resolved. Get Well Soon.
