What Causes Bleeding From Painful Mole On On My Right Temple?
About a week ago, what I thought was a zit appeaeed on my right temple, right at my hair line. Now, it seems more like a mole, and it s sensitive to the touch. When I was just drying my hair, I must have knicked it because it bleed a little bit. Help, is this cancer???
Hello respected, I think you may have pyogenic granuloma , a common condition, type of benign growth, that looks like a mole, has vascular component and has bleeding tendency especially on minor trauma and it's painful too.
another condition that can match your complain is the wart , a type of viral infection of skin only, it is usually asymptomatic black or brown small papule and rarely if traumatized can bleed.
cancer in a mole is usually a slow process, in which existing mole enlarge in size, may change in color, bleed and it is painful, and it's rare too.
so my advice is consult a good dermatologist nearby and get it removed by radio cautery machine or laser machine and also do a biopsy of the same to confirm the diagnosis .
