What Causes Bleeding From Penis After Having Sex?

Hi After having intercourse with my wife I had bleeding from my penis which was quite disturbing because it seemed quite a lot. I was in no pain at any time. I have been recently lifting weights and my job is quite physical and strenuous at times. The bleeding stopped after a few minutes and there is no signs of it in my urine. What could this be ?

Hello,

Your symptoms could be related to a local trauma (during sexual intercourse) or prostatitis. For this reason, if the situation repeats, I would recommend consulting with an urologist and performing an ultrasound of the prostate and testicles.
