i faced drained and bleeding issue in my left ear from 1995 to 2011 and after surgery (radical mastoidectomy) in feb 2012 got the relief from that. after surgery i faced hearing issue with left ear and i guess that i can hear 80% less from right ear. surgeon advise me hearing ad but i cant use as i dont like to use hearing ad. now a days i again facing drainage issue in left ear from sunday last. please advise permenent treatment
Permanent hearing impairment can happen after major ear surgery. It’s due to damage to minute inner ear structures. The hearing aid will be the best possible option. You can consult an ENT specialist and he can direct you accordingly.
