What Causes Bleeding From The Penis After Intercourse?

Hi, me and my boyfriend had sexual intercourse last night, after we had finished i went to the toilet and seen blood then my boyfriend realized he had a small cut on the tip of his penis where the blood had came from and he became very worried, it had stopped bleeding over night and he went out today and it started again. Were not quite sure if its a cut as it not looks like a little tiny blister ive tried looking on google to see what it could be but i cant find the correct information, we have been together over a year now and this is the first time it has happened, he thinks i have been with someone else and i havent and he says he hasnt. What could this be?

Hello and thanks for your query.

I shall make an effort to provide you with good professional recommendations specific to your questions.
This is likely due to inadequate lubrication at the time of intercourse. You should better avoid sex again until this skin heals and you can put some topical antibiotic ointment on the cracks like Neosporin to help it heal. You should make sure you use a lubricant the next time you have sex to prevent this problem.
You should be fine in couple of days, if it persists after that, do see doctor for examination.

Yet again, I duly appreciate your query to me, I do hope that you have found something useful to help you and I shall be glad to answer any further apprehensions.

Sincerely,
I find this answer helpful
