What Causes Bleeding Immediately After Period?

I had an ablation done in June. Sunday I started my period and it lasted until yesterday, about an hour ago I went to the bathroom and was bleeding again very bright red, my back is hurting really bad and I have a headache. Not sure if I am just starting my period again or if it is something else. Should I go to the ER or not
