What Causes Bleeding In The Navel?

woke up end of june with blood oozing from belly button. Belly very soar. Dr. put me on antibiotic. after 3 days belly better but chronic diareaha ever since. Dr. check stool sample after 1 month for cdiff. negative. sent me to see a GI specialist, he put my on Flagyl antibiotic. Stool changed from water to soft but still going up to 10 times a day. Symptoms have been diareaha, bloating, loss of apetite, anxiety, agitation, lost 8 lbs in a month, lack of concentration, not sleeping. Flagyl slowed the diareaha from pure water to soft stool. Still going to bathroom up to 10 times a day. It has been 2 months now.

Before trying Flagyl, you need a stool culture.

You can still do it 10 days after treatment.

Also parasite stool test can be done.

Then your doctor can decide the treatment plan.

Also you can be checked for celiac disease.
