General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

From your description, I am of the opinion that You should have a chest x-ray done along with upper respiratory tract for a provisional diagnosis.

Do you smoke? cause if you do,you have to stop it. As it's been from 2 years, I don't suspect any local trauma as such because that would have been healed till now.

Till then steam inhalation, using a mask to prevent pollution, avoiding allergic inhalation, etc would help relieve the symptoms.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Ashish Ranjan, General & Family Physician
