Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello,

PCOS is a condition wherein the ovarian follicles fail to mature. Medication is given to allow the immature ovarian follicles to mature and to release mature ova. I suggest you to consult your gynecologist for clinical assessment and prescription of medication which would stimulate the follicles to mature.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shailja Puri , Pathologist and Microbiologist
