What Causes Bleeding While Passing Stool And Hair Loss?

Hello, I am a 21 year old female and was concerned about my stool. I always had a lump on my anus and some bleeding while passing a stool but they tend to go away after a while. However, today I had a lot of blood. The whole toilet was red with blood as if I had my period but I didn't. There was also blood on when I wiped with a napkin. I am also loosing a lot of hair. I am not sure if the two may be results of disease.

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain a lump over the anus along with bleeding on passing the stools seems to be due to external haemorrhoids..
As Haemorrhoids are due to swelling of veins in the anal region, straining during stools can lead to bleeding as well as pain..
I would suggest you to consult a Proctologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and he can do a clinical evaluation and also advise you investigation like anoscopy to confirm the cause and treat you accordingly..
In case of Haemorrhoids you can be advised to apply steroid ointments, do sitz bath that is sitting in a tub of warm water..
Avoid spicy food and take stool softeners to ease in bowel evacuation..

On the other hand hairloss can be due to causes like nutritional deficiency, fungal infection, stress, hormonal imbalances, pattern baldness caused due to genetics and androgenic hormones..
You need to consult a Trichologist and get valuated and investigations like dermoscopy, blood tests etc can help in diagnosis..
You can be advised to apply 5% Minoxidil solution, take multivitamin supplements, do massage with warm coconut oil and take more of green leafy vegetables and fruits in diet..
Drink plenty of water..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
