What Causes Bleeding With Abdominal Pain Between Periods?
Hi I last had my period about three weeks ago. I woke up this morning to a lot of blood, like a very heavy flow. But there were no warning signs like there are every time I menstruate. There is a small pain at the bottom of my belly, just above the pubic bone. And a slight burn around the vagina opening. I m 16.

There are many medical conditions that can cause bleeding in the middle of the cycle. Causes might include
-Uterine fibroids or cervical or uterine polyps.
-Changes in hormone levels.
-Inflammation or infection of the cervix
So, I recommend doing an abdominal ultrasound and a vaginal swab test for further evaluation.
