What Causes Bleeding With Low Hemoglobin Levels After Blood Transfusion?

My father's hemoglobin levels are way low and have not went up to "normal" range in over a year doctors can not find out why he is bleeding and he has already had one blood transfusion. Is it true that in some people their bodies end up not producing blood like it should and If that does happen can it start to harm their internal organs and start to cause other harmful problems because there isnt enough blood going to those organs?

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
Your father has anemia not responding to treatment. He should go for ultrasound abdomen. There may be some bleeding in gastrointestinal tract. So you should search the cause of that. Also go for complete anemia profile to know the type of anemia. Then he should take treatment accordingly.
Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
