What Causes Bleeding With Odor After Termination?

I had a termination about 11 months ago and im still bleeding...but once I had the termination I was put on the pill injection so I don t know weather I am bleeding from the pill injection or there s something wrong?I noticed my blood if brown and quite smelly

Hello dear,i understand your concern.In my opinion brown foul smelling discharge needs to rule out any infection.After the abortion process the contraception should be started only after ascertaining the abortion is complete.I suggest you to go for ultrasound.And the discharge can be sent for culture and sensitivity to rule out any infection.Hormonal injection can also be one of the cause for irregular bleeding but the above said investigations help in ruling out the other causes.If the investigations are normal then bleeding can be attributed to hormonal injection.
