What Causes Blister Under The Thumb?

I have a horrible blister under my thumb that is growing and pushing the nail out of its socket. I ve tried every home remedy I can think of and nothing works. I don t want to take antibiotics because of their terrible side effects. I ve been to the trauma clinic and they didn t know what it is either. They suggested I see a hand surgeon which to me is too silly to consider. Have you any ideas?

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi,

It may be soft tissue infection. Kindly consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment.

I would suggest....

- short course of antibiotic
- anti inflammatory drugs
- apply antibiotic cream
- take rest
- cleanse the area with antiseptic solution like savlone

I hope this would help you.

Thanks.
