What Causes Blisters All Over The Tongue?

I ve recently started taking morphine sulfate 30mg and percocet 10mg. This is the second month and also the second time I ve had blisters to cover my entire tongue. It s so hard for me to even drink, let alone eat. Do you have any idea what this might be? It s seriously killing my mouth. Thanks, Jade

Thanks for your reply. I have gone through your query.
The blisters over the tongue can be because of the pemphigus or bullous pemphigoid. Nothing to be panic, consult a oral physician and get it evaluated. You might have to get a biopsy and immunoflorescence test to confirm the diagnosis. Once the diagnosis is confirmed, it can be managed accordingly with steroids.
I hope i have answered your query. Take care.
