What Causes Blisters And Rashes On The Chest And Back?

My daughter was recently hospitalized for ketoacidosis and a blood infection. She has type 1 diabetes. She was also told she had mono. After being released, she was told she didnt have mono afterall, but she continues to feel even worse. She has a rash on her chest and back which starts as blisters and turns to sores. A battery of blood tests and still they cant tell her whats wrong. Alao has swollen lymph nodes.

Hello,
Your daughter being type 1 diabetic, the infection must've triggered the ketoacidosis.
Mono can present with rashes after being treated with antibiotics like amoxicillin. That could be the case with your daughter.
