What Causes Blisters On The Arms After Playing With Stray Dog?
my daughter was playing w a outside stray dog and blister looking spots almost looks like burns came up on her arms what would cause this?the emergency room said it is a skin disease caused by mange on dogs is this possiable or what else could this be.
As per your case history, your daughter is having allergic dermatitis. My treatment advice is - 1. Don't squeeze the lesions as it may worsen the condition. 2. Apply a mild antibiotic plus steroid cream like Fusiderm-B cream twice daily on it. 3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetirizine twice daily for 7-10 days. 4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics, oral steroid taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
