What Causes Blisters On The Forehead And Face After Exposure To Sun?

Two days ago I went swimming. I was outside for 7 hours. I m really sunburnt. I even had blisters on my forehead, my nose, and my chin. Well, I popped them. Now, the skin is peeling especially on my nose and my chin and it s burning really bad and it s super itchy. It s bothering me! What do I do?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It isn't better to pop them because of the possibility of being infected. Now I suggest you to avoid sun exposure.

Take loratadine 10 mg for some days, Paracetamol or Ibuprofen for pain and you can use sulfadiazine cream.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Blerina Pasho, General & Family Physician
