What Causes Blisters On The Penile Head?

I have had a red bubble on the side of the head of my penis for about three days now. It looks like it could be a blister or maybe even a pimple. I m 40 years old, uncircumcised, and last had sex about a month ago. Is this something to worry about?

Hi.
As per your case history you are probably having genital herpes.
My treatment advice is -
1. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like fusiderm cream twice daily on it.
2. Take a NSAID like ibuprofen for pain.
3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine for itching if present.
4. Other treatment options are oral acyclovir, azithromycin taken only after consulting a dermatologist.

Thanks.
