What Causes Blisters On The Upper Knee?

I have several blister on my upper knee, bright red and appear to be coming to a head, I have applied neosporin and covered with a bandaid for right now, not any severe pain, maybe a herpes, which I have Had 10 years ago, on my ankles and knees, shall I give it 24 hours to see how they react?

I have gone through your query. If you send a picture of the rash then it will be more helpful. If it is fluid filled rashes with pain then it can be herpes. In such case acyclovir cream for local application will be helpful.
