i had my coil fitted just before xmas last year and its been great. and then about a month ago i started getting bloated all of the time for no reason and also pains in my pubic area. its really getting me down now as i look heavily pregnant come the evening

Hi,

Mild discomfort and pain can happen after IUD coil insertion.

Generally, it will settle by itself. You can take analgesics like Mefenemic Acid tablet for symptomatic relief.

If symptoms persist, you can consult a gynecologist and check whether the coil is misplaced or not.
