What Causes Bloating Around Abdomen And Delayed Periods After Having Protected Sex?

Hello. My name is Shay. So, I am 14 and I take birth control to regulate my period every day at 6 pm. Well, last Saturday I was out passed 6 pm and when I got home I took the pill around 11:30 pm. On the next day I took the pill around 7:30. Anyways, on Monday my bf and I had protected sex but the condom broke right before he had finished Nd so nontheless his sperm wound up in me. Right after I got out of school I wasnt very responcible with my pills so when I shouldve been on my period, I wasnt because I wasnt taking my pills at an appropriate time each and every day. Usually, when I take the pills I have to wait one - two days to even start my period but I didnt have it at all last time. So, before all this happen I never knew about ovulation. So, I can honestly say I have no idea when or how long ago I could have possibly ovulated. Anyways, I havent felt pregnancy symptoms and I do have a test just in case. But I am deathly afriad that I could be pregnant. Also, I have noticed bloating around my lower abdomen to my private area region. Soo.... Anyways, any and all advice and help would be much appreciated.!!! I dont believe I am pregnant, but I am extremely nervous. Please help me.!

Hello,
Thanks for sharing your health concern with us. I have gone through your query and would like to offer some information. When you are not regular with hormone contraception, your cycle is not protected. This means you can ovulate and therefore can have a risk of pregnancy. In the current scenario, please go for a pregnancy test, either a HPT or the blood test. Do not worry, everything can be taken care of, provided it is detected early. Hope this helps.
