What Causes Bloating , Headaches And Lower Back Pains Post Unprotected Sex?

Okay. I had unprotected sex April 10th and 12th it is now the 17th of April. My boyfriend did cum in me but I have been bloated, having headaches, lower back pains, and hard sleeping at night because my belly hurts when I lay down. I don t know when I was suppose to have my period because I have been on birth control and it made my periods irregular. I ll get them one month but not the other. Also, around mid March I got back on depo. Is there a chance I could be pregnant?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello ma'am and welcome.

Being on the depo shot significantly reduces the chances of conception/pregnancy and so although it cannot be completely ruled out, with the given circumstances it is highly unlikely.

I would although still recommend a home pregnancy test to be conducted by the 2nd week since the sexual contact took place using an early morning urine sample.

Best wishes.
