What Causes Bloating In The Stomach During Old Age?

Hi Doc I am male age 61 yrs wight 62 kgms and height 5 9 there is a feelig of bloatness in the stomach with gass formation the motion is normal but not very clear . Due to cough and cold i have been having some medications for the last 4 days .. hope that is not responsibe for this problem

Yes bloating can be caused be drugs as side effect it's good to vingirm for your doctor or pharmacist.
other causes causes can be
1. Stomach ulcers
2. growth from the stomach small intestine of large intestine
Before treatment investigations are necessary
1. Full haemogram
2. stool to check for occult blood
3 Endoscopy
5. Colonoscopy
6 ct scan of the abdomen for any other mass in the abdomen
Treatment depends on our come
1. Laxatives such as Dacolax.
2. enema if hard stool
3.If ulcer need protein pump inhibitor such as omeprazole. isomeprazole.
if symptoms persist consult gastroenterologist
