What Causes Blob Of Tissue Cyst With Tentacles In Chest?

A dermatologist took a so called cyst out of my chest wall right above my left breast yesterday. It was suppose to be a sabilious cyst but when the Dr opened the chest she said What the heck is this! it was a blob of tissue with Tentacles coming out of the blob. the tentacles were imbedded in the tissue and she had to tug and cut quit a lot of tissue out to get this thing: out. The incision is 1.5 long with 15-18 stitches on the outside and 8-10 in the inside. She said she took out lots more then she thought she would and didn t have a clue what this blob was. Yes they sent it to be biopsied. What am I to expect them to find. Am I in trouble?

Ophthalmologist 's  Response
Hi,

Must be a dermoid. He will sent it for histopathology to rule out any cancerous cells.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Harshita, Ophthalmologist
