What Causes Blocked Ear?

Sir i am having ear problem for the last three months. Whenever i get up i feel my ear blocked. There is generally a numb feeling for most of frequencies but more for low frequencies and it is accompanied by some noise in my right ear. As the day passes by i feel a sense of fullness and pressure in my ear. But with the passage of the day my hearing is restored. By the evening i usually achieve 90 percent recovery. This cycle is repeated every day. I am 45 years old male. Can anybody give me any explanation for this?

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi, thanks for your query. In my opinion you might have eustachian tube blockage which causes negative pressure in middle ear leading to ear blockage.
Et dysfunction is treated by decongestant tablet and nasal drops. Steam inhalation daily twice.
Advised valsalva exercises 10 to 15 times per day.
If symptoms persists, then I would advise you to consult your ent doctor and get audiometry test done, to know the middle ear status.
hope my answers have helped you. Thanks.
