What Causes Blocked Ear,tinnitus And Impaired Hearing?

my son has had flu like symptoms and even though he is feeling better he had a really bad coughing bout 2 days ago and his ear has been blocked with occasional ringing. what do you think is wrong because not being able to hear from that ear is bothering him alot.

I THINK YOUR SON IS SUFFERING FROM AN UPPER RESPIRATORY TRACT INFECTON AND THIS HAS LED TO THE EAR BLOCK.
START ANTIBIOTICS AND DECONGESTANTS AFTER TAKING AN OPINION FROM AN ENT SPECIALIST.
