What Causes Blocked Nose And Yellow Nasal Discharge?

Hello Dr I always have block nose and when I get up every morning I have dark spite sometime yellow or like blood in it I have some tests done and everything was ok but something strange is happening to me when am round people they either cough sneeze or trying to clear there throat and there symptoms are very severe and is affecting my life what could be this

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of blocked nose and yellow nasal discharge which seems to be due to maxillary sinusitis due to infection of respiratory tract.

Need not to worry. I would suggest you to take proper preventive measures. You should avoid intake of oily, spicy and sharp food. Avoid intake of cold carbonated beverages. You should take steam inhalation as well. You should take combination of anti inflammatory medications along with antibiotics such as Ciprofloxacin. Visit ENT specialist once and get it examined. You should get these lab investigations and x-ray done to find out exact cause of your condition and start treatment accordingly.
